Cohearent Vision

coHearentVision is the working name of The Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People which has existed since 1866. Throughout its long history, the single objective has been to respond to the expressed needs and aspirations of deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, blind and partially sighted people. This has been achieved by the active participation of sensory-impaired people, both as members of committees at every level and as members of staff.

Elsie says: Cohearent Vision were our very first supporter allowing us to use their excellent facilities at Centenary House on North Street to deliver 2 days of training to Elsie panel members and advocates.  Those of us that took tours of the facilities at Centenary House came away inspired by the possibilities!  Special thanks go to Zoe and Rob for helping us to make the first set of training happen.
